This is a scenario calculator, not an earnings forecast. Actual publisher revenue depends on geography, ad format, demand, viewability, invalid traffic filtering, policy compliance, and the provider's revenue-sharing model. CPM and page RPM are different metrics.

How the estimate works

Ad opportunities = Page views × Ads per page

Impressions = Ad opportunities × Fill rate

Estimated revenue = Impressions ÷ 1,000 × CPM

Page RPM = Estimated revenue ÷ Page views × 1,000

CPM is based on ad impressions, while page RPM measures revenue per 1,000 page views. One page view can generate multiple ad impressions, so these metrics should not be treated as interchangeable.
